Crinaz is a man who values peace and quiet above all else, especially in his beloved garden, which people seem to have a knack for wandering into uninvited. He's not one to associate with the common folk, as he's far too preoccupied with his own magical prowess and luxurious lifestyle.
In fact, Crinaz is so out of touch with the struggles of ordinary people that he's probably never even heard of things like "hard work" or "taxes." But who needs empathy when you have a castle and a cache of powerful spells at your disposal?
